Thank you for shopping at WhirlingSun.com. We take pride in crafting exquisite custom and boutique jewelry in silver, gold, and bronze to your specifications. Please review our Returns and Refunds Policy outlined below:
Lead Time and Order Fulfillment:
Every order placed with WhirlingSun.com requires an estimated lead time of approximately 8 weeks. This duration allows us to meticulously cast, polish, finish, and pack each unique piece. Occasionally, additional time may be necessary to arrange supplies for your order.
If you are not willing to wait for your custom handmade piece to be fabricated, do not order anything from WhirlingSun.com. Go shop somewhere where mass produced junk provides same-day gratification and minute to minute updates. Its cheaper and it will love you long time.
Return Eligibility:
Custom pieces are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and will address any issues with personalized items promptly.
Exclusions from Returns:
We do not accept returns solely based on the waiting period. As the resources and efforts for fabricating the order are already invested, returns for reasons related to waiting times cannot be accommodated.
Credit Card Chargebacks:
Customers who initiate credit card chargebacks without attempting to resolve issues directly with WhirlingSun.com will be permanently prohibited from placing future orders and will be treated like shit at all future opportunities. Please reach out to mike@whirlingsun.com to address any concerns or inquiries before resorting to a chargeback.
Restocking Fee:
For eligible returns that comply with our policy, a flat restocking fee of $50 (yup, Fifty) will be applicable. This fee covers handling, inspection, and processing of the returned item. It also discourages impulsive idiots from thinking this is Amazon and they can just take for granted a return is an easy option. If this seems punitive to you, blame the consumerist slobs who have repeatedly abused the credit card chargeback feature. I held out as long as I could but these pieces of shit are everywhere now. Sorry.
How to Initiate a Return:
If you believe your item qualifies for a return due to defect, damage, or incorrect order, please contact me within 14 days of receiving the item. Provide comprehensive details and photographic evidence if possible to expedite the resolution process.
Seriously, though, this is an extremely rare occurrence and I am very willing to remedy such situations when they happen. I am extremely accommodating if there’s a legit problem.
Refund Process:
Once the returned item is received, inspected, and approved, a refund minus the restocking fee will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
