Silver Elhaz Life Rune Pendant

This Sterling Silver pendant was made using the lost wax method and weighs approximately 1/4 ounce. It has a silver bale at the top which will accept up to a 4mm cord or chain. It is approximately 1.5" tall and 1" wide.

Runes were used by the Germanic tribes from the 2nd to 8th centuries to inscribe jewelry, weapons, grave markers, tools, and amulets.
The Elhaz rune means "Life, Elk". It transliterates to the English Z. It is the Fifteenth character in the Elder Futhark alphabet.
