Silver Viking Knit chain w/ dragon heads

Viking Knit chain is a type of woven wire chain that is made by hand- working a single strand of wire into interconnected loops. Each necklace is woven from a strand of silver wire that is 60' - 90' long! After all the weaving is done the chain is drawn through a die and is transformed into a smooth, flexible, and beautiful necklace.

Examples of Viking Knit chains have been discovered in archaeological excavations throughout northern Europe dating back to the 8th Century.

Our Viking knit chain is the double knit pattern for strength and looks and terminates in a pair of dragon heads that hold an Oath ring of twisted silver wire in their mouths.
